The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of pulmonary T.b patients self - concept on therapeutic compliance.
The subjects for this study were a sample of 99 tuberculosis patients selected from one health center located in J city and six medical center located in B city, J city.
Data was collected from december 15th, 1985 till February 15th,1986 through questionaires. The conculsion of this study was as follows.
I . There was a significant relationship between self - concept and compliance. (P<.02)
2. High self -concept group was higher compliance than low self -concept gro-
up. ( P < . 001 )
3. In distribution of subjects, compliance was significant with age. ( above 50 age under 59 age ). ( P < . 05 )
